Soho has been the heart of London's entertainment industry for many years. The area has become such an iconic part of London that many other international cities have imitated its philosophy- such as in Manhattan and Hong Kong. Therefore, in some ways, Soho has been in constant translation, as its rich historical transformation has meant its status in London has continually evolved. This project looks at methods to draw translations ( as well as lost translations) which exist in Soho, particularly those of the infamous Raymond Revue Bar in Soho. These drawings are drawn by means of both observation and as a form of proposition. They are achieved through bridging aspects such as form, use, behaviour and history, through tracing, layering and sampling.
